Getting startedBasic logic
Show follow-up and Otherwise
Ask a different follow-up for each answer. Use this when one question has two relevant paths, such as positive and improvement feedback.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 02Hide question and page
Hide an optional question and an entire page when the respondent does not need them.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 03Required and optional answers
Require contact information only after a respondent gives permission, and allow it to remain blank otherwise.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 04Jump to a page
Send respondents directly to a later page, skipping an irrelevant details page.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 05Jump to a question
Start at a specific question on a later page, bypassing earlier questions on that page.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 06Conditional completion
Offer a short completion path for respondents who have nothing more to add. When the ending matches, the navigation button becomes Submit. Clicking it creates a completed response.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 07Screening ending
Politely end the survey for respondents who are not eligible. Keep these outcomes separate from completed responses. A matching screening condition changes the navigation button to Submit.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 08Cross-field validation
Compare two answers and show a useful error when they disagree. This example confirms an email address.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 09Prefill and calculated answers
Fill a blank answer with a useful default, then maintain a separate calculated, read-only copy.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 10Clear, disable and read-only
Clear an answer and control editing when a condition matches. These actions keep questions visible.
Read tutorial →Personalization
Insert a previous answer
Make a later question feel relevant by inserting an earlier answer, with friendly fallback wording.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 12Carry selected choices
Ask a follow-up using only the choices the respondent selected earlier.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 13Carry unselected choices
Follow up on choices a respondent did not select, such as products they have not tried.
Read tutorial →Advanced logic
Randomized order and fixed choices
Reduce order effects by changing the order of choices or questions while keeping an Other choice fixed at the end.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 15URL variables and random groups
Personalize a survey from a declared link parameter and assign each respondent to a stable experiment group.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 16Response quota
Stop accepting completed responses for a group once its capacity is reached, while allowing other groups to continue.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 17Scoring and a score-based ending
Assign points to choices and use the total to select an ending. This example finishes early for a high confidence score.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 18Repeat a page for selected items
Ask the same page of questions separately for each selected product, keeping each product’s answers independent.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 19Nested All/Any conditions
Combine a required condition with an alternative group: the respondent must be a customer AND give a recommendation score of 9 OR 10.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 20Show a follow-up page
Include an entire follow-up page only for respondents who ask for it.
Read tutorial →TUTORIAL 21Weighted numeric score
Calculate a weighted total from numeric ratings. In this example, product quality counts twice as much as service.
Read tutorial →Review a working example
Each tutorial links to its matching local review survey. The local app needs to be running to open those examples; the guide itself uses only the files in this folder.
